It had been a very long week for the Tooth Fairy. So many teeth, so many pillows, so many coins! By Friday night she was so sleepy that she yawned a big sparkly yawn right over a rooftop.
She floated into Ava's room, ready to do her job. But the bed looked SO soft, and the pillow looked SO cozy. "Just one tiny rest," she said, and she curled up on the edge of the pillow... and fell fast asleep!
When she woke up, the sun was rising! "Oh no, oh no, oh no!" She grabbed the little tooth, dropped the coin, and flew out the window just as Ava rolled over.
Ava found the coin and smiled. "Thank you, sleepy Tooth Fairy," she whispered. And far away, the Tooth Fairy blushed. Sometimes, being a little sleepy makes you extra lucky.
