Milo had a wobbly tooth. It wobbled when he ate apples. It wobbled when he brushed. It even wobbled when he laughed. But would it come out? No way!
"Come out, little tooth!" Milo said, wiggling it with his tongue. The tooth wiggled back but stayed right where it was. Milo tried pulling it with his fingers. Ouch! Still there.
That night, Milo whispered to the Tooth Fairy: "Please, I really want my coin." The Tooth Fairy smiled and said, "A wobbly tooth comes out when it's ready — not a moment before. Be patient, and it will happen."
So Milo stopped pulling. He ate his apple. He brushed his teeth. And two days later — pop! — the tooth came out all by itself, right into his hand. "You were right!" he laughed, and under the pillow went the tooth, and the coin came in the morning.
