The Sock That Found a Friend
One red sock tumbled out of the dryer and landed behind it, all alone. 'Where is my pair?' he sighed.
He met a lost coin, a shy paperclip, and a marble that rolled in circles. None were socks, but all were lonely.
Together they built a tiny kingdom behind the dryer, with a thimble for a castle and a button for a throne.
The red sock never found his pair. But he stopped being lonely — because a friend doesn't have to match to belong.
