The Little Lantern and the Dark
In a village where the night was very thick, a little lantern named Lou was afraid of the dark she was meant to push away.
'How can I light the night,' Lou whispered, 'if I am small?' The old moon said, 'Light the step in front of you. That is enough.'
So Lou lit one step. Then the next. A child followed her glow home, then another, then a cat.
Lou learned that you don't need to banish all the dark. You only need to show the way for one small foot at a time.
