Pip the Painting Penguin
Pip was a penguin who did not like fishing. Pip liked painting. He dipped his flippers in snow and drew blue swirls on the ice.
The other penguins shook their heads. 'Penguins catch fish,' they said. 'Penguins do not paint.' But Pip painted a fish, and then a whole ocean, and the ice looked like a dream.
A whale surfaced, saw the painting, and blew a happy fountain. Soon seals and gulls came to admire.
Pip never caught a fish in his life. He didn't need to. The whole sea came to see his pictures instead.
