Bramble the Brave Bumblebee
Bramble was the smallest bee in the hive and the only one afraid of heights. The flowers, though, grew tall and far.
'You can ride on my back,' said the old bee Betsy. So Bramble climbed on, eyes shut, and they buzzed up to the highest sunflower.
When Bramble opened his eyes, the whole meadow was gold below him. He collected so much pollen his legs wobbled.
Back at the hive, the Queen said, 'Bravery is not the absence of fear. It is riding anyway.' Bramble agreed, already planning his next flight.
